Coffee and Refreshment Hour: Every Sunday after Worship, members of our congregation host a coffee and refreshment hour so we can gather for fellowship. It is also an opportunity to purchase fair trade coffee and tea.
Tuesday Evening Worship: At 7 p.m. – follow the ramp from the parking lot and come in the office entrance.
Young Adults: Adults with Enthusiasm Serving our Mission Eternal, In Christ (AWESOME, INC) consists of individuals and couples from college age and up, who plan a monthly activity – Bible study, dinner, ice-skating, bowling – for fellowship and support.
Choir and Music: We have a talented group of members with a passion for music including choir, drumming circles and special music events and opportunities throughout the year.
Work Days: Are you handy or just willing to get dirty and do some cleaning? Member volunteers gather monthly to help maintain our church and its grounds.
Pray and Play: Families, children, and all in the congregation who love them are invited to gather for fun, faith, and Bible-related activities throughout the area! Pray and Play is an opportunity for children and parents to get together beyond Sunday mornings, for children to learn Bible stories in a different way, and to build friendships among both parents and children!
Green Team: This team of volunteers works to reduce the environmental impact of St. Andrew through such actions as recycling, improving energy efficiency, purchasing more sustainable products, and providing educational programs. No experience is necessary to help out with this committee!
God’s Works, Our Hands Sunday, September 13th at 4 p.m. – Each year in September, the ELCA unites in service on “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday. This year, St. Andrew invites and encourages everyone in the congregation to take part in a special service ministry on that day, September 13th. During worship at 11:00 a.m., we will offer a blessing of our hands as we are sent out to use them in doing God’s Work. At 4:00 p.m. we will gather at Family House, 514 N. Neville St. 15213 to prepare and cook dinner for the guests who are staying there during medical treatments for themselves and/or loved ones. We will serve dinner at 5:30 p.m. and share in fellowship and support of the guests in their time of need.
